I have no experience in modeling or the modeling industry, so you'll have to excuse my ignorance when I ask this question...I have always wondered why models pose like hunchbacks? Can someone out there enlighten me on this subject? I once read an explanation on someone's blog, but for some reason I've forgotten what the reasoning was.

The fashion industry wants tall models, but when they get these models, they have them in fashion spreads looking like the hunchback of Notre Dame!
