
I like Van Assche’s philosophy about fashion and wearability:
“When I design clothes I always think about the occasion when a guy could wear them, or I think about friends wearing them. People can call that commercial, but for me it is much more of a challenge.”
I think it’s important for designers to produce clothing that is wearable. What’s the point of designing clothes that can’t really be worn? If a piece can only be worn by the model you’ve pasted it on, then something needs to be changed.
