I have to be grateful for runway shows on YouTube because frankly speaking, I'm a bit tired of the ads in fashion magazines...

Take, for instance, this Elie Tahari ad I came across in the latest issue of
Glamour magazine. What stands out to you? Hmmm...nothing! Ok, maybe the hair on the model looks absolutely gorgeous, but where is the creativity? Why do 99% of these ads nowadays have women just laying around? Seriously - ladies, do we lay around the house clutching our Elie Tahari bag?
And I'm not the only one who feels this way. Fellow fashion blogger, Sarah over at
Style It,
is pretty bored with those
Louis Vuitton ads with Scarlett Johansson.
I don't want to sound like a whiny blogger. It's just my intention to wake up the fashion marketing world to let them know that they need to get a little more creative like
Lanvin. Now that's what I call Wow! marketing...
Maria-
I am so happy to hear your feedback. It is always refreshing when consumers are honest about how they feel. I would honestly welcome any ideas that you may have that would seem more exciting.
