Last month a new fashion magazine made its debut in New York:  HauTe Fashion Nigeria Magazine.  I was very impressed to read about the person behind this masterpiece, Dammie Amolegbe, and to find out that she is only 21 years old.  To have accomplished what this young entrepreneur has accomplished is nothing short of amazing. 

My only wish is that the magazine will come to the West Coast soon!  I browsed through the website where pages from the first issue are posted.  You will learn why Nigerian fashion is so expensive, read a tribute to Opral Benson, plus, of course, view pictures of fashion from Nigerian fashion designers. 

Dammie's work is truly inspiring!
