From what I see, Erin Fetherston's collection is a hybrid of the 70's hippie girl and 80's actress on the show "Dallas". Featherston is certainly not afraid of ruffles. Simple, yet elegant, shiny, and flowy are the words that come to mind as I watch this clip from her Spring 2008 show (courtesy of Coutorture):
Is it me or did I actually see a piece with shoulder pads? Who knew that a fashion designer could make spring so fun even in a color palette of grey, silver, and white! However, as I watch some of the other shows I'm realizing that for some of the designers, Spring 2008 is all about the design and not so much about the color.
