It's only the second official day of New York Fashion Week, and already I'm overwhelmed from all the editorials and pictures that I've seen so far. I can't even imagine what it would be like to actually be there running (if wearing heels - walking) from show to show. My little notebook is full of notes and I'm just now trying to make sense of it all. Hence, the late night post. I wanted to do separate posts for each designer, but tonight I think I'll just highlight some of my favorites for today...
Miss Sixty is known for setting the trends and this collection was not an exception. I can't say that I liked all the pieces, but I must make note that they were definitely eye-catching. Of all the shows I've looked at so far, this one has to be the brightest and the most "risque". However, it may not be so showy for the 20-somethings. I do like that they're bringing back the sun visor...
I liked the Charles Nolan show because there was a mix of women's, men's, and children's clothing. This was another collection that had a variety of color, unlike most of the collections seen so far. However, my favorite pieces were the ones in white and khaki.
Chris Han's pieces are light and airy, yet chic and sophisticated. I can see her entire collection being worn on the streets - and I mean that in a good way.
