Although I did say that the color palette for Spring 2008 consisted of mostly black and white, I may have to retract that statement. As New York Fashion Week progresses and the more shows I review, I'm beginning to realize that there is so much more color out there.
One color that does stand out is teal which was seen at the Abaete, Lacoste, and Chaiken shows...(pictured respectively)
Michael Kors gave me a fashion orgasm with some of the pieces from his show. If you ever thought that orange was just way too out there (like me), well, MK sure knows how to make it chic.

Oh, and lest we forget about the Maestro of Fashion, Ralph Lauren. This year marks his 40th year in the fashion business, so he went all out for this collection. Primary colors reigned supreme. Make sure you put on those sunglasses before you try on those yellow pieces! He didn't do anything particularly new, but he sure knows how to work a hat, doesn't he?
