Last week I said that Milan is where fashion begins, but I've completely forgotten about the Far East - specifically Japan.  I just finished reading this article at the Wall Street Journal about Loic Bizel, a Tokyo-based fashion consultant who lives and breathes the fashion trends of this country. 

Bizel basically spends his time touring the city streets to observe what's going on in fashion.  Not a bad gig, eh?  Some of his past clients include Timberland, Louis Vuitton, and Coach. 

One of the trends he's noticed that hasn't caught on in the U.S. is men's handbags.  However, there is one guy here in the U.S. who has caught on to this trend.  He even has a name for the man bag: murse.  You may even remember when I first introduced you to this guy.
