It's never a surprise to see a fashion brand venture off outside the world of apparel. After all, once you have the creative juices flowing, it's pretty easy take that creativity into another industry. For instance, I just found out via this article at Guardian Unlimited that Versace will soon be designing the interiors of jet
planes and helicopters. Definitely "a natural extension within the Versace world". Visions of helicopters lined with leopard print fabric fill my mind.
I also discovered that Donatella's niece, Francesca, will be making her debut this week in Milan. The label is called "Francesca V". With the fashion pedigree that Francesca comes from, we can almost be certain it will be a success.
