Well, I just received word from WWD.com that Gap has just signed on Todd Oldham as Old Navy's new creative director. Oldham will grab the reigns on October 1st. All of us rooting for Gap to make a comeback will just hope and pray that he'll do something to get fashionistas back into the doors.
Todd Oldham has a very impressive resume. He truly is a modern-day Renaissance Man. Here are just some of the things he's accomplished that I gleaned from the bio on his website:

2006 - Designed And Developed Todd Oldham Flowers For FTD
2006 - Designed The First Free Standing Todd Oldham By La-Z-Boy Store In New York City
2003 - Designed Todd Oldham By La-z-boy Collection Of Home Furnishings
2003 - Designed Todd Oldham Home Room Line For Target Stores
2002 - Designed Todd Oldham Dorm Room Line For Target Stores
2001 - Redesigned The Veruka Nightclub In Downtown Manhattan
2000 - Designed The Todd Oldham Studio At Artisan Workshop Line Of Tiles
