6 Fashion Networking Websites For Social Butterflies
Between all the writing, answering emails, working on my jewelry business, and traveling that I do, I don't have much time to engage in social networking online.  However, I'm beginning to realize the importance of getting out there and meeting with people - especially being able to share experiences and knowledge about the fashion industry.

Unless you don't spend much time online or have been hiding out in a cave for the past year, you know that social networking websites have been sprouting up left and right.  People everywhere are gathering online to talk about the fashion.  I've talked about several of them before, but I feel the need to bring them all together under one post to make it easier for those of you looking for networking sites.

Here are the online fashion networking sites that I know of so far:
  • Global Fashion Network - geared towards the apparel industry; has a forum, blog, chat features, and a featured called Fashion Faceoff where you can compare your company against the competition
  • Fashionising - has many features, but I especially like that people can upload their portfolios so that they can be "discovered"
  • MostFashionable - (click on the link to read or reread my post on this network)
  • VoteInStyle - (again, click on the link to read my past post)
  • FashionMash - this website is different from most social networking sites because users can upload photos from their own wardrobe and get help from the community.
I know there are more sites out there and they've slipped my mind at the moment, so if you know of one and would like to share it, leave a comment below...
