If you didn’t already know, Kimora Lee Simmons a.k.a. Miss “Baby Phat”, has her own TV show called Life in the Fab Lane. I still have yet to see the show, but I did come across this little clip of the show over at YouTube…
Here’s another video of Kimora on the Tyra Banks Show where she talks about the transition from being a model to becoming a designer.
I think what has made the Baby Phat brand so popular is that Kimora has established her credibility in the fashion world. She’s been a model and has worn dozens of designers down the catwalk. She knows fashion. In addition to that, the Baby Phat brand has mass urban appeal, plus it’s affordable.
