Perhaps I may have to retract my statement that fashion on the West Coast is boring and not very interesting because I found myself admiring some of the pieces from Candice Held's runway show. More than anything, I like that she used women of color in her show...
Candice Held is known for her one-of-a-kind pieces that are made from vintage scarves. Parts of the collection seem very Pucci-ish which is probably why I'm so drawn to it. Held has a long celebrity client list that includes Halle Berry, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, and Maria Palma just to name a few. (Ok, that last person is me. Thought I'd throw my name in there just for fun...A girl can live in her own La La Land, can't she?)
I agree, I heard the TMZ report of the who's not who at the benz fasion show. But I thought it was a good show.
