No Such Thing As Slow Economy in the Luxury Fashion World
Luxury-Economy.png
There's all this talk about a slow economy, but for major luxury fashion groups like LVMH and Burberry, things appear to be smooth sailing.  This Times Online article reports that Burberry hasn't been hit by "the gloom on the high street" and that the company will stick to its forecasts.

When you're dealing with affluent consumers, I believe that there's no such thing as a slow economy.  It just doesn't exist in their world.  They'll continue to spend money on luxury goods.  Even your average "middle-class" consumer still yearns for that designer handbag at the expense of possibly missing a mortgage payment.

Has this so-called slow economy stopped you from shopping?
