Today Gap (NYSE: GPS) announced a quarterly dividend of $.08 per share which may be a good sign for a company that has been going through some tough times this past year.  

Nevertheless, I'm happy to see that the Gap continues to help others in need.  The company recently introduced the "2 Weeks" t-shirt.  Contributions from the sale of the red t-shirt will help support programs which provide HIV/AIDS prevention in Africa.  They call it the "2 Week" shirt because the money is equivalent to the cost of 2 weeks of medicine.
