For the founder of Limited Brands (LTD), life has been anything but limited. Leslie Wexner, a self-made billionaire in the fashion industry, got his start back in 1963 when he started a sportswear store with a $5,000 loan from an aunt.
The company went public in 1969 as Limited Brands and it's been an upward journey ever since. It now controls an impressive portfolio of companies including Bath & Body Works and Victoria's Secret.
Although the company currently faces a decrease in stock price, I believe that their continued commitment of creating a great buying experience for its customers will be key in taking Limited Brands to the next level.
