Are you a fashion blogger looking for more web traffic? Coutorture hosted their first seminar on BlogTalkRadio yesterday which you can listen to at the BlogTalkRadio website. The topic was SEO (Search Engine Optimization) which is something any blogger or website owner should be fluent in - or at least have someone on their team who is!

Vyque of Fasshonburu shared five things that you can do to make your fashion blog more search engine ready so that readers can find you on the internet. 

Here are a couple tips I'd like to add:

 

*  Make sure the title of your post has a keyword that you're targeting.  You want people to read your posts, right?  In order to get them to even be interested in your blog, the title of a post must be intriguing.  If you're blogging about Chanel, you should include the word "Chanel" in the title.

*  Be very detail-oriented in your posts.  If you're writing about a collection of a certain designer, make sure you include the year and whether or not it is a spring, resort or fall collection.  Many people are looking for specific information, so the more detailed you are, the higher your chances are of being found in the search results. 

*  Be aware of what search words readers are using to find your blog.  This will give you ideas of what topics to write about.  I've found that many people are coming to this blog by searching "spring 2008 fashion", so this is a topic that I should probably write more about.
