Please, just for today, allow me to indulge in a little "celeb" talk.  I've been seeing the latest Macy's commercials featuring all the designers and the celebrities' brands and I always cringe when I see Jessica Simpson portrayed as this "dumb blonde" (Perhaps she is one, but why would she allow herself to be perceived as one?  In which case, she probably is one if she's doing it...)

And as much as I complain about celebrity clothing lines, I must confess that I actually like Jessica Simpson's new clothing line which was launched last month...Ok, maybe she didn't get behind a sewing machine and create these herself, but the collection is still pretty nonetheless.  I especially like the shoes and handbags...
