Trends Schmends
Carol Calacci of Second City Style offers a plea to fashion designers regarding fall 2008 fashion.  Looking at the list of fashion trends she hopes will stay, I don't think she has anything to worry about.  As far as I know, the trends she mentioned aren't really trends in my book.  Black tights will always be in style, I've seen platform shoes every season since the early 90's, and hats...well, as a self-proclaimed hat lover I believe hats will never, ever, ever go out of style.

The bottom line is, whatever fashion designers come out with in Fall 2008 is fine by me.  After all, shouldn't we just focus on setting our own trends ?
