In the Western part of the world you don't read too many headlines about fashion in the East or South Pacific.  However, the fashion culture in countries such as Japan and India are slowly making their way into the radars of fashion writers and bloggers.  I bet that many of you have never even heard of Bali Fashion Week that took place last November - and frankly, neither did I until I came across this article about the Filipino fashion designers who participated in this event. 

Bali is known to surfers as having one of the best waves in the world.  However, this island is also becoming known for its fashion as well.  While doing a blogsearch for Bali fashion, I came across the Fasity blog where I learned about Kerry Grima, a famous designer in Bali.  Let's hope that we can get some of these designers to Paris or New York.  It would be nice to see a little more spice and diversity in these cities.
