If there's one fashion designer who can put on grand, eye-catching shows, it's Karl Lagerfeld. The spring haute couture show in Paris featured a 75 foot tall structure created in the form of his take on the Chanel cardigan. Models made a
ring around the cardigan wearing floor-length dresses of organza, muslin and tulle. If anything, we get a glimpse of the softer side of Lagerfeld and his desire to
appeal to the younger generation. The ballet flats used has received mixed reviews, with many bloggers expecting more sophisticated high heels.

makes note of how there appears to be a problem with using younger models: "...very young, thin, unformed models lack the personality needed to bring the joy of couture fully to life."
Overall, I think Chanel put on a spectacular show. No matter what season it is, we can always count on the iconic Chanel jacket to get us through any fashion issue.
