Management:
*Manage relationship with designated Vendor Partners
*Take steps to interface with piers at a director level
Production and Presentations:
*Preparation & collaboration on all forecast meetings, window concepts color forecasts, web and marketing direction, Buyer One-on-One meetings
*Collaborate with team on development of all color and trend products, packets, and presentations
*Take a role in the presentation of all Season and Color presentations
*Facilitate One-on-One monthly meetings with individual buyers
*Produce all trend alerts (approximately 4 weekly)
Sources, Shopping, & Services:
*Collect information in preparation for up-coming meetings, trend boards, and trend alerts
*Constantly source and report to Fashion & Trend team findings on trend & color
*Shop directional retailers and report to Fashion & Trend team
*Travel to trade shows and LA & New York to shop markets and retailers
*Monthly Vendor Partner analysis and communication of findings
*Weekly Color analysis review in TOP sellers meeting
*Seasonal Color Card report card
*Aid in annual budget preparation
Partnerships:
*Accompany Buyers in Market and appointments
*Overview direct-import vendor product
*Work with Vendor Partners for packet interpretation
*Facilitate Window Pre-concept meeting with Sr. Buyers & communicate theme ideas to balance of team
*Collaborate on window meeting style-out (apparel & accessory) product pull
*Floor-set & pre-Set walk-through and review
*Participate in Marketing and Web ideas brainstorming
*Represent Merchant team at all fashion shoots as Charlotte Russe stylist
*Specialize in specific area of business for more concentrated partnership
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication skills.
Team work and partnership alliances are keys to success in this position. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to re-prioritize daily.
Must be highly productive & resourceful.
*Junior retail experience highly preferred.
