Berlin Fashion Week started yesterday and although it isn't as popular as the fashion weeks we're used to, it won't be long before this event will catch the attention of fashion mavens worldwide.  Two years ago Berlin received the title, "City of Design" by UNESCO and is growing into a creative hub.  Moreover, last year IMG and Mercedes-Benz decided to climb on board as sponsors in order to give Berlin Fashion Week a bit of credibility in the fashion world.  Big names like Hugo Boss (showed yesterday), Zac Posen, and Joop! are slated to appear on the runways along with emerging designers.
