And indeed it was. From the moment you walk into the store, you feel like taking off your shoes, having a seat in one of the lounge chairs, and relaxing while you enjoy the ambience. Compared to most boutiques, it is dark except for a few table lamps and recessed lighting. Poster-size pictures of Carolina Herrera and her family are displayed on the walls.
One of the salespeople walked me through the store and introduced me to some of the spring collection. The room that was set up like a huge walk-in closet or dressing room was especially interesting.
In my excitement I forgot to take pictures of the store, but I do recommend visiting one of the Caroline Herrera stores if you're thinking about opening up your own boutique. Remember that it's all about the customer experience!
