Valentino gave his final hurrah in Paris today with a runway show filled with class and elegance - everything that we've known him for. Despite all the drama surrounding Valentino's departure, he's still managed to produce a collection that doesn't compromise his integrity and reputation in the fashion industry. With Valentino out of the picture, the company has moved forward with a new designer, Alessandra Facchinetti. She was formerly the ready-to-wear director at Gucci, but rumor has it that she left only after a few collections because she supposedly had disagreements with management.
"Valentino has always been for me a reference point, an icon of style and elegance," Facchinetti said in a statement.
Although Valentino is leaving the company, I have a feeling we'll see him again soon ;)
