"Does what (or who) you see on a magazine cover compel you enough to actually pay the cover price? Or do you stick to your subscriptions (or the internet!) only?"
I actually don't have any subscriptions to fashion magazines. When I go to the bookstore to purchase a magazine (which is rare because I usually stick to blog readings or I do what many people do and just read the magazine in the store), I do so for the headlines on the cover. However, I will admit that I'm drawn to covers that have celebrities whom I'm interested in learning more about as well. My most recent purchase is the December 2007 Vogue with Penelope Cruz on the cover. I consider her to be one of the Audrey Hepburn's of our time. How about you? What compels you to buy a fashion magazine?
I have a subscription for Flaunt Magazine. And I continue to subscribe to them even though I don't like the cover. Inside is what's more important to me.
