With New York Fashion Week kicking off, of course there are tons of celebrations and parties around the city.  GQ and the CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) co-hosted a celebration honoring the best new menswear designers in America.  The brands and designers who were featured include Stefan Miljanic of Gilded Age, Steven Alan, Simon Spurr, David Neville and Marcus Wainwright of Rag and Bone, Swaim Hutson and Christina Hutson of Obedient Sons, and Daiki Suzuki and Angelo Urrutia of Engineered Garments.









I must note that André Benjamin of the musical duo, Outkast, made an appearance and offered his thoughts on fashion influences.  André is someone we could all learn from when it comes to creating fashion statements.
