New York Fashion Week is indeed a circus - like any mega event that happens in America.  While many of us were enjoying the funny Super Bowl commercials yesterday (myself included) thousands of others were partaking in beautiful fashion and The Beautiful People in New York.  

I've come clean to say that I haven't been that interested in what is happening in New York, but today I suddenly find myself looking forward to reading the reviews and watching the videos.

First designer on my list to check out is Max Azria's BCBG.  Some may think this collection is boring, but I happen to like boring sometimes.  Boring often stands the test of time.  The silhouettes in BCBG's Fall/Winter 2008 collection are what's to be expected from this brand.  They're clean, sophisticated, and fresh.  And if you're a company that might go public, you definitely want collections that will be liked by sophisticated investors.

Whether you think New York Fashion Week is a circus or is full of boring shows, I'm sure we can all agree that it's still a bit exciting...if we can get people to pay attention to the fashion!
