What makes runway shows so exciting (no, it isn't the celebrities in the front row!) is being able to see creative designs emerge that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but inspire us to follow our own creative passions. 

As I browsed through the pictures from some of the runway shows, I was looking for a trend to talk about, but what I saw were unique designs that stood out on their own.  Some of these designs came from designers that are well established in the tents, but other collections that surprised me came from brands that are fairly new to fashion week. 

So, what is it that surprises me?  Details.  I've always believed that details are what takes a piece from "pretty" to "absolutely stunning".  Details are the cornerstone of high fashion.  Here are looks from Isaac Mizrahi, Marchesa, Temperley London, Milly, Vera Wang, and Naeem Khan that caught my eye...
