I agree with you. I understand that people want to grow their companies, but oftentimes those who grow too fast end up doing more harm than good.

I think companies that expand beyond their core tend to overextend themselves. Take Gap for instance, they used to just do basics and since they've gotten away from that niche, I think the quality of their core goods has deteriorated significantly. On top of that, their prices are a bit inflated. What do I look like paying $30 for a tank top? Wasn't part of the company's draw high quality, cute basics at a reasonable price? $30 for a tank is not reasonable.
...ok so that was off topic...sort of. LOL
