CoSTUME National, a brand recognized all over the world for its edgy chic collections, was started back in 1986 by Ennio Capasa and his brother, Carlo.  After working as an assistant to Yohji Yamamoto for three years, Ennio thought it was time to go out on his own. Ever since then, CoSTUME National has gained a following in fashion-conscious cities such as Milan, New York, and Tokyo.  Not only does the brand offer collections for both men and women, it boasts a range of fragrances, eyewear, and accessories as well.  

It's very interesting to see a designer like Ennio Capasa embrace the online world and take advantage of social networking sites to spread the word about his brands.  Ennio not only has his own blog, but he even has a company Twitter account where all "tweets" are posted on all company blogs he owns, including the newly launched blog, C'N'C CoSTUME NATIONAL.  This streetstyle blog is being built around the streetwear collection which will include brand news and contests.  Instead of regular text posts, you get a day-to-day snapshot of a day planner with a schedule of what the C'N'C CoSTUME NATIONAL team is up to.  Join the community at: http://blog.cnc-costumenational.com/
