Many of us hail
Karl Lagerfeld as a fashion genius who not only is a great
photographer, he has also created phenomenal designs to Chanel and Fendi. Now there's word that he's going to be featured in the much anticipated
Grand Theft Auto IV video game due out on April 29th.

I remember when Grand Theft Auto first came out and it was all the rage. My boyfriend bought it based on a suggestion of the guy at the game store, so we popped it in and started playing without any real idea what the game is about or what the objective is. (And yes, I still like to play video games!) I decided after a few tries that I hated the game. I didn't like the idea of beating up people and driving around trying to raise ruckus and what-not. I just didn't get it and I still don't.
So when I found out Karl Lagerfeld will be this
"nasty, politically incorrect" character I wonder what he stands to gain other than some big bucks from Rockstar Games. Will this hurt his personal brand or will the fashion industry even care? Is this a ploy by Rockstar Games to get fashion editors buzzing - which is working, by the way. Will fashionistas cajole their gamer friends to buy the game just so they could see Karl Lagerfeld?
