Fashion Industry discussion, review, analysis, news, and information

For many of us who work in the fashion industry, Fashion Week - or month, rather - is a long forgotten memory.  As designers are probably at this moment working on their Spring 2009 collections, consumers are just settling into their spring 2008 wardrobes and maybe thinking about what's ahead for the fall season. 

As for me, well, I'm still trying to catch up.  For the past couple years I've been pretty good about being on top of the trends, but I'm finding that my attention span for reading fashion reviews and watching runway shows on YouTube has waned quite a bit.  Perhaps it's all this talk about the upcoming U.S. Presidential election.  Politics are on my mind and all the funny nuttiness that surrounds it. 

If I could ask the Presidential candidates a few fashion-related questions, I would ask them:

1.  What would you do about copyright laws as far as protecting fashion designs?
2.  Should there be a ban on skinny models in the U.S.?

What questions would you ask?

Anyhow, I did pay a visit to the Style.com website to clear my mind of hard-pressed issues and watched this video of highlights from Paris Fashion Week...
