You don't hear or read too much about the Benetton brand. It's been a quiet force in the fashion industry, but has been making long strides and doing pretty well financially. The company has plans to open 50 stores in Mexico including the one that just opened in Mexico City a couple days ago.
Part of the strategy to expand in Mexico also includes a deal with Sears Mexico to sell merchandise in Sears stores. Sears and Benetton? Sounds like an interesting combination, but with the Benetton price points here in the U.S., I don't see that kind of deal ever happening in North America.
