There are very few celebrities who are not "professional" models that I think should be on the cover of fashion magazines. I've accepted the fact that celebrities make for good marketing, but that doesn't mean we should see them everywhere.
However, that said, one celebrity who I do admire for her confidence and ability to command attention without always having to be "out there" is Madonna. Last month she was on the cover of Elle magazine which made every Madonna or celebrity skeptic shut their mouth for just a minute. Or maybe I'm just biased because I was a huge Madonna fan back in the 80's and have selective hearing when it comes to criticism of her. Besides, how many 50-year-olds can actually pull off a cover of Elle?
