When I think of menswear, the first brand that comes to mind is Giorgio Armani. It would be remiss for me to talk about the menswear shows in Milan without mentioning the designer who can make even the nerdiest man look sexy.
Giorgio Armani's Spring/Summer 2009 collection is very relaxed with a hint of sleek thrown in here and there. Tans, grey, blues, black, lavender, and purple sum up the color palette. I must agree, the designer does have a growing appetite for eccentricity. For me it was an East meets West kind of theme with the Asian-inspired collared jackets, long button-down shirts, plus suits and ties mixed with loose-fitting pants.
