Stella McCartney presented her Spring 2009 collection to a group of adoring fans at the Jefferson Market Garden.  Models casually hung around donning classic pieces in a color palette of blues, tans, coral, and pink with a hint of metallic thrown in for good measure.  Luxurious, timeless, and fluid is what Stella McCartney is known for and she delivered that and then some with this collection…

The only thing I can’t picture myself wearing are the shorts.  They look adorable on skinny models, but for someone like me who’s short and has a little junk in her trunk, those shorts wouldn’t quite work.

I would have to agree with you about the shorts, although they are cute. I love that metallic jacket, I bought one similar to that a few months ago on shopgoldyn.com for a lot less money I'm sure. :)

I think those shorts look like boy shorts underwear. There is nothing sexy about it and I think it's classless. Only girls can wear that, not a real woman. Size does matter!!!

I love the concept of using the garden as the stage. All the green really suits Stella's clothing. And yes, those shorts are a bit teeny tiny.
